Key Works

Exhibition Content

Mariscal considers the exhibition space as one large sketchbook where new creative work can be created from.
This Seoul exhibition becomes his unique world of art built based on three different subjects.

  • Sketches Room
Mariscal portrays what he sees on his notepads or sketchbooks with pens, pencils, or crayons. Having gone through dyslexia, his way of expression has been more of drawings than writings. This room revisits the main sources of inspiration and motivation that drove him to become such a successful artist.

  • Collage Landscape
Mariscal plays with collage techniques to recombine the colors and forms and create totally new objects. Featured are the furniture and interior objects that are created from his boundless imaginary and unconventional world.

  • Colors Parade
Lively characters and works from his collaborative projects are the highlights in this room. Happy World, an exclusively created work for this exhibition, is presented in this last room for the visitors to rethink their values of happiness.
