Minions coming to Hanwha Aqua Planet Jeju, known for the largest aquarium tank in Korea
Hanwha Aqua Planet Jeju opened A Minion's Perspective on July 13, 2020. Based on Illumination’s <Minions>, from the world’s highest-grossing animated film franchise, <Despicable Me>, this international touring exhibition offers fans of all ages an opportunity to immerse themselves into the world of record-setting films.
 
Featuring thematic rooms with life-sized characters and interactive multimedia 
After having opened at Insa Central Museum in Seoul, Korea, A Minion's Perspective travels to Jeju with new content and new characters from <Minions 2: The Rise of Gru> which is now set to release in 2022. The exhibition offers chances to immerse in iconic scenes from the films, test their skills with interactive games, interact with memorable characters, explore picture-worthy settings, and experience brand new attractions that are exclusive to the Jeju location.  
All guests are asked to wear masks and have body temperatures taken upon entering the exhibition.

Exhibition Content 

Section 1: Theater and Gallery
All the behind scenes are revealed through the sketch works of highlight scenes and characters, 3D maquettes of the main characters, directors' interviews, and more.
 
Section 2: Gru's unprecedented lab and four villains 
Picture-worthy settings with life-sized characters 
 
Section 3: A dreamy bedroom for three little girls 
A room that every little girl would fall in love with rainbow and unicorn
 
Section 4:  A Journey to the history of Minions 
From the stone age when the minions struggled to survive to the modern day when a little Bob becomes the King of the country
