The Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí, created by the artist himself, is responsible for managing the Dalí Theater-Museum located in Figueres, in Salvador Dalí’s hometown. At the very expressed wish of Dalí, the ruined theatre has turned into a museum under the direction of Dalí himself. This surrealist museum, restored with an artistic passion, is filled with Dalí's symbolic sculptures and icons all around the murals. It is also where Salvador Dali is buried in a crypt.
